Lively Bra First Impression

I ran across this post on Facebook raving on and on about this bra and how comfortable it is AND it was strapless. I typically take most sponsored posts with a grain of salt, but for some reason, this one seemed legit. Now here’s the thing…I HATE bras with a passion. If I can, I really do try to avoid wearing them at all. I am a pastie and braless type of a girl especially in the warmer months because bras are just the worst. However, in my professional life, I haven’t quite figured out how to go braless without it being noticeable or just feeling weird about it. Needless to say, I was in search of a bra.

Not long ago, I filmed a video about Third Love and how awesome and comfortable their bras are. However, the way my bank account is set up, I’m really not trying to buy a bunch of $60+ bras just to cover up nipples. It’s just not worth it in my opinion. Having one or two works for me, but I need a decent rotation at this point. Fast forward, I’m reading through this Lively sponsored post and decide to peruse their website. All of the bras on the site are $35, which I feel is pretty damn reasonable if you ask me. I’ll spare you all the details of me simply adding the strapless and wireless bra to my online cart and skip to the good stuff. Needless to say…purchased.

Lively Bra Sideview

My bra arrived in the Lively packaging and it seemed like this giant bra with this huge band, but I figured it was made like this for structure and support. As someone who took a few garment construction classes back in college, I tend to notice the quality and the lines and some other menial details whenever I buy something. Anyway, I excitedly hooked the bra on and was pretty surprised at the comfort and that it actually stayed up on my chest. Someone who isn’t exactly well endowed in the boob department, I was pretty shocked that no matter what (jumping, lifting my arms, shimmying) the bra stayed put! Win.

Lively Bra Try-on

Now when I say its comfortable, I mean it’s comfortable for a bra. Bras can be poky, scratchy and just downright disrespectful. This one is a bit scratchy but not poky and pretty respectful if you ask me. I’d give this bra an 8.5 out of 10 in the comfortability department. I already know I’ll be buying more bras from this store more often and I’ll finally have a great bra collection that’s comfortable and made well.

With all that being said, if you’re interested, get yourself a Lively bra because they seem to be very well made, comfortable, and are affordable. I’ll see how this bra wears for the next few months and come back with an update. I’ll also probably purchase some more of their non-strapless bras because ya girl is most definitely due for an underwear update.

Thanks for reading,
