A Recap of Styling Broad Shoulders in 2022

What an incredible journey it has been since I wrote about styling broad shoulders back in 2020. My pin of this post basically went viral-ish on Pinterest and that one blog post has kept constant eyes on this here blog. Evergreen content truly does exist! I want to recap about styling broad shoulders and embracing those bad boys. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, refer back to my 4 Ways to Style Broad Shoulders post.

My tips have stayed exactly the same since I’ve embraced my own broad(er) shoulders. I’ve pretty much switched a good portion of my wardrobe to any neckline that scoops, V’s, U’s, or squares. The difference in how I look in clothes and even shop for clothes is so drastic. I very rarely impulse buy tops and/or dresses because the necklines above are so much harder to find than your typical crew neck. However, when I do find those necklines, I grab them almost immediately.

So, I want to keep this post pretty short because this is honestly just a recap. During this Spring & Summer, I embraced more scooping and plunging necklines. Even though I lack in the boob department, I still really like the plunge. My secret? Boob tape! I’ll need to make a separate post about that good old boob tape. I would love to keep the plunging neckline going throughout the Autumn for when I’m out on the town, but we’ll see.

I don’t really have too many more tips but to embrace your shoulders with different necklines. That’s it, that’s the recipe. If you’re worried about which neckline to try first, definitely start with a scoop neckline and then go from there. Leave a comment telling me which neckline is your favorite!
