I’m Back & Stylish Autumn Outfits I Wore This Year

Guess whose back…again. I know. It seems I neglected this blog yet again. It’s been a crazy, heartbreaking and busy year. Long story short, I had to give myself space to grow and heal. I’ll spare the details because I really just want to share what I have with you all. So let’s just skip to the good part!

I finally decided to just post my outfits both on here and IG, then do a recap at the end of the month. I’ve had this idea since September so I feel now is a good time to do this at the end of autumn because it’s truly the best season for fashion. Winter has its moments too but first comes Autumn.

I also want to start talking about more general things as well even though I love fashion like nobody’s business. I’m a pretty multi-faceted person like most and I have a ton of different interests – talking about just fashion or skincare is boring and was one of the main things that caused my blogger burnout. I know niches are the way to go for building a specific type of community but I feel that things are shifting and audiences aren’t really looking for a master of one but someone they can actually relate to or at the very least, enjoy reading about. So, I want to talk about my love for all things aesthetics, my new bedding, new business endeavors, where I’ve been since April…really just anything. The main focus, of course, will be fashion and styling, but I want to fill in some of the holes that have been missing for a while.

So now that we’ve established that I’m back…let’s see the outfits I’ve been wearing for the past few months. I’m still very into neutrals, probably more so than ever before. I’m also still obsessed with wearing sweatpants/joggers almost every single day but making them into a cute fit. Early on in the Autumn, I was having a moment with sleeveless turtlenecks, graphic tees, and sneakers.

Where I’m living, the temperature dropped pretty drastically and quickly without warning. Most days it averaged about 48 degrees- pretty mild. I had to tap into some of my winter wardrobe before I knew it. I’m a sucker for a shacket and again the sneakers…especially Chuck Taylors.

Obviously, I picked my favorites and most stylish, because I’m not going to bore you guys with leggings and a sweatshirt combo. I know my outfits still have some basicness to them, I really do my best to elevate them by mixing together pieces that you don’t see coming and going. For instance, the puffer jacket over the sweater dress and then extra chunky boots – *chef’s kiss.* If you’re wondering if I repeated any of these outfits, yes I certainly did! I am a certified outfit repeater.

Anyway, I can’t wait for the temperature to really drop now so I can pull out the faux fur coat and the sweater dresses. Even though I’ll mostly be inside, I still plan to document a good portion of my outfits. I’ll probably have a lot more photos by then because Winter is always such a busy season. However, stay tuned for some of my other posts too! I’ll actually be back this time. I hope you all enjoyed this update and enjoy what’s to come in the future.

Thanks for reading,

ChelsiKay
