Elemis Thousand Flowers Mask

I know I know I’ve been away but I am back. I recently started another job on top of my job. Everything requires an adjustment so I’ve basically just been adapting to my new work schedule and trying to find time to write and take photos. I want to continue to give you decent content that is super dope, so my posts may be a little spaced out. I will try to do better at batching and automating, but please bear with me if my posts seem a little sporadic at times.

Today I wanted to talk about a skincare product that I’ve been using for months but never got around to talking about it. Normally I like trying products that are trendy and have pretty and colorful packaging, but I wanted to go for something a bit more…I guess you could say scientific or clinical. So I ordered the Elemis Peptide-4 Thousand Flowers Mask after reading all the raving reviews. The day it arrived you guys already know that I slapped it all over my face because what’s a patch test? I let it sit for about ten minutes and then used the washcloth that it came with. My skin was so smooth and seemed to feel a lot less congested.

I try to apply this mask at least once a week to kind of reset my skin especially if I’ve worn a lot of makeup or been outside in the elements. I find that after I apply this mask, my skin isn’t dull anymore and my other products even seem to work a bit better. This is a product where you may not see a difference but you’ll definitely feel a difference. I’m glad I purchased this mask on a whim because I want to start curating products that are no-nonsense and just simpler than what I’m currently using. I would prefer to have maybe six or seven products in my arsenal rather than ten to thirteen products. I currently have eleven and I’m slowly starting to downsize.

Anyway, I like this mask because as I said before, it’s a nice reset for the skin. Since I already have sheet masks that I use for hydrating and/or breakouts, it’s nice to have a nice in-between “refresh” mask. My only complaint is that this mask does initially burn when you first use it or if you haven’t used it in a few weeks. That burning can be pretty uncomfortable, definitely avoid any sensitive areas on your face if you do decide to purchase this product.

Overall, I think this is a great mask especially if you’re looking for something that is really simple or don’t really have a ton of breakouts but still want to keep up with your skin every so often. Its good to be back writing again and I hope you all enjoyed this and thought this was helpful.

As always,

ChelsiKay
