The Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist

I’m not sure if most of you know this, but I don’t buy nearly as many beauty products…or much of anything anymore unless I absolutely need it. I’ve come a pretty long way from impulse buying and honestly, I love it. I do occasionally have moments where I will just pick something up on a whim, but that is such a rare occurrence these days. At some point, I will tell you all about how I stopped shopping so much and quit shopping impulsively…probably sooner rather than later.

Back in March, I did get a wild hair and made a very random purchase at Sephora. I got this email from them that this new product just hit the shelves and I should get my hands on it. I normally delete these messages, but I was pretty curious and it had been a minute since I made a Sephora purchase.

This purchase I’m speaking of is the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist. I mostly got it because I knew that it would smell like a watermelon jolly rancher like their other products and who doesn’t want their face to smell like this? I thought it would be a cool purchase because it was pretty, pink and had interesting packaging. I didn’t expect much from it whatsoever.

Initially, I started using this as a mist after I washed and moisturized my face as an extra hydrator. I loved the results, my skin always feels really refreshed after use. Then I began using it as a setting spray for my makeup and wow! If you want a seriously dewy finish even with a matte foundation, then this is the mist that should be used. When I was in Palm Springs, I used it as a makeup setter and a refreshing mist. Deserts tend to be dry and hot and a good misting spray goes a pretty long way.

Even while using this product, I still didn’t realize how amazing it actually was. My mom went to buy her own after using mine and it was sold out at every Sephora she went to. It can probably be purchased online, but you know a product is really good if you can’t find it in stores. I can’t say I’ve ever purchased something impulsively that worked so well and also was a best-seller. I honestly have no cons for this product other than that it comes in plastic. That is more of a personal issue though…I just really love the look of glass skincare.

Anyway, I like this mist quite a bit and I like that it’s so multi-purpose. The main aspects I love about it is that it really makes your skin super glowy and its clean and green. Who knew a mist could be so useful?

Leave a comment and tell me if you’ve used the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist.
