Quick & Easy Nail Hack – Nail Stickers

Even though we’re living in pretty somber times right now, I find myself seeing the light at the end of the tunnel…but in a good, positive way. Poor choice of words on my part. Anyway, since I don’t have to go to work right now, I can actually grow out my nails like I used to. I’m not exactly required to have short nails, but since my job does include manual labor, my nails tend to break regardless. My nails are a whole love-hate relationship that I will most likely explain in a separate blog post. Keep reading if you want me to actually get to the point.

About two weeks ago, I tried nail stickers or nail foils for the first time. Well, technically I did try them before when they first came out (I think) and it was a huge fail. In fact, I don’t think I saw nail stickers again until a few weeks ago. Maybe they just didn’t do all that well at first. Anyway, the “set” I applied more recently was a huge success and they lasted way longer than I thought they would. I didn’t get to take any photos of them, but they lasted about five days even while I was still working.

Naturally, I ordered some more off of my seemingly favorite place in the world…yup you guessed it – Amazon. I clearly have a problem. However, you can find nail stickers at Target, any local beauty supply and of course Sally’s Beauty. I ordered mine from a random shop that has six different options which contain six different sheets of nail art. However, better quality ones are at Target – Dashing Diva GLOSS to be exact. The designs tend to be better too.

I personally like nail stickers because you can skip the nail salon but still have really cute nails. Also, there are no fumes from nail polish and there’s no chipping or too much room for error. Of course, they’re not going to look perfect, but it’s nice to get a break from actually doing or getting your nails done especially during these quarantined times.

I hope this was yet another post that sparked some kind of inspiration especially right now. Feel free to leave a comment and tell me some of your quick nail hacks.

Thanks for reading,

ChelsiKay
