Glossier Solution might be the Solution

About a month or two ago, I wrote about a product that was saving my skin in the blog post 3 Products that are Saving my Skin. Okay, you’ve probably already read the title and know by now that I’m speaking of the Glossier Solution. I mentioned that I figured this product was all hype, but really it is pretty damn amazing.

This praise is coming from someone who doesn’t mess with acids too much anymore due to my sensitive acne prone skin. Most products that are meant for acne-ridden skin make my face so inflamed. In all honesty, I cannot tell you what exactly is in the Solution that makes my skin so happy, but Glossier can…

“Unlike physical exfoliators that scrape off the surface of your skin, Solution gently sloughs dead cells away through chemical exfoliation, ungluing the problematic dead cells hiding and clogging healthy skin beneath. With daily use, expect cleared acne and blackheads, smaller pores, and reduced redness. Skin’s texture will be smoother and softer, and the fabled glow of balanced, healthy skin will be in full force. Solution contains a particular 10% blend of three acid groups: Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA), and Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA). Acids are your friend.”

Like most acids, there is a slight tingling sensation at first and that can be somewhat worrisome. However, that sensation goes away after about 30-45 seconds. I normally apply at night and by the morning time my skin is SO smooth and any pimples are starting to dry out. The biggest plus is that my dark spots start to fade away and if you’ve been reading for a while then you know that has been an issue for me.

Now I’ve fallen off the wagon when it comes to using the Solution and I want to start using it again within in my routine. While I add it back into my skincare routine, I also want to document it with pictures and videos so that I can show you guys the results! Keep an eye out on that blog post that will include before and after pictures AND possibly a video.

As always, thanks for reading and until next time!
