3 Suncare Products I’m Loving Right Now

I’m not sure if in the past I have mentioned that I am a huge sunscreen wearer, specifically for my face. I know most people avoid facial sunscreen at all costs because it is usually sticky and doesn’t work well with makeup whatsoever. Over the past few months, I had been wearing a foundation with SPF inside of it – It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream to be exact. I loved this CC Cream, except, during the Summer, it is way too thick for this humidity.

I wore sunscreen even back in high school because my skin would burn and then peel if I didn’t. My favorite at the time was the Aveeno Daily Moisturizer formulated with SPF 15. Well, facial sunscreens have come a LONG way since then and actually don’t leave a gray cast when mixed with makeup. You can now wear SPF 50 on your face without your makeup sliding off halfway through the day. They even make spray sunscreens that set your makeup and you can reapply with ease. Keep reading if you want to know which face sunscreens I’ve been trying and wearing and loving these past few weeks!

I’m going to start off with a sunscreen I purchased last month. It’s actually not a sunscreen, but a cream that you can wear during the day. In fact, it is called the Estee Lauder Daywear – Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme Broad Spectrum SPF 15. Not only is it formulated with an SPF 15, it also makes my skin feel super soft after use. I feel like it triples as a moisturizer, primer, and a sunscreen. If you plan on going full face makeup then this is a nice lightweight product that basically does it all. You can buy the little travel sized version at Ulta for $16 and a little goes a long way!

Here’s where we start getting fancy with our sun protectants. I’m sure most of you guys have heard of Coola. Coola is known for being an organic suncare brand and honestly, I’m here for that. I actually have on the Coola Makeup Setting Spray formulated with Broad Spectrum SPF 30, green tea, aloe AND Hyuralonic acid! Today was my first day wearing it all over my face and I must say that it did give me a really nice matte look. Since I’ve been going for a more natural makeup look, the matte-ness looks really good with minimal makeup. I do feel that I could do a full face and set it with this product. I think I may have to try that out in the very near future.

I think I might be the only person who gets excited about sunscreen. Most people avoid it at all costs but look at me, I embrace it. I love the new types of sprays, mousses, and sticks that are available now. Speaking of which, I’m basically in love with the brand Supergoop! I currently own the Super Power Sunscreen Mousse and the Glow Stick Sunscreen w/ SPF 50. It does actually create a glow, but you can’t see it in the picture below because it was raining like hell that day.  Hopefully, my selfies are doing the products justice though.

I always seem to only have three products that I use, but maybe I’ll make that my thing from now on. So I haven’t figured out which one I like the most, but I am also still experimenting. I think everyone should really wear sunscreen especially if it doesn’t irritate your skin or make your skin look greasy and gray. I also believe that sunscreen allows you to keep your youthful glow…I mean I have worn sunscreen religiously since high school and well, do I really need to explain?
